Nor Cal Champs 6/27 - 6/28
Cheater Sauce had an awesome showing at the 2015 Nor Cal Champs Race hosted by Nor Cal Hobbies in San Jose, CA.
Track was on point all weekend with very consistent conditions which made for a lot of close racing through 4 rounds of qualifying and triple A Mains.
In the end of it all, Tommy Hinz, would secure the TQ spot in 3 classes (Mod 2wd, Mod 4wd, and Mod Stadium Truck) as well as take home 3 first place 'belts' while using Cheater Sauce on his AKA tires.
Tommy stated it "Worked great on my AKA tires. 3 TQs and 3 wins.#CheatingTraction"
Also, Kyle Layton would secure a solid 2nd in Pro Stock Buggy, 1st in Mod SCT, and 3rd in Mod 4wd while treating his JC tires with Cheater Wash and Sauce.
Additionally, Drew Lorenzo would secure a 2nd place finish in Mod SCT after great battles between him and Layton and he also secured a first place finish in EBuggy Lite and 4th in 13.5 4wd.
Congratulations to everyone.
IERC Track Record 5/24/15
Jeremy Hase Jr. from San Bernadino, CA would set a new track record in his AKA/Cheater Sauce equipped Losi 2.0 buggy. Says his buggy is always consistent and always stuck to the track when using Cheater Sauce and Cheater Wash combo. Congratulations to Jeremy on his new record.
Outback Shootout 3/7 - 3/8
CheaterSauce dominates 2wd SCT. Terry Wickum would secure TQ after 4 rounds of qualifying. Terry would then lead the entire main event and bring home the win. He would also win the TQ Dash for Cash in his same stock SCT (video below).
This past weekend at Outback Raceway in Chico, Ca, the annual outback shootout was held. With around 260 entries, it was a full weekend of racing. There was one class i wanted to focus on (stock sct) which always has some great competition. With the help of all my sponsors (Bmillerracing, Amainhobbies.com, protekrc.com, Jconcepts.net and Cheatersauce) I was able to set TQ in all four qualifiers and pull of a wire to wire win. My winning setup consisted of an sc10.2 running a hobbywing esc, team powers motor, protek batteries. I ran jconcepts gold dirtwebs front and rear with stock inserts on hazard wheels with Cheatersauce keeping them stuck to the track. Thanks to all my sponsors for the continued support through another year of racing.
Cactus Classic 3/16 - 3/17
Cheater Wash debuts at Cactus Classic.
With saucing not allowed at the 2015 Cactus Classic, everyone was looking for an edge. Cheater Wash was debuted at this event for the first time. With running slicks on a track with exceptional tire wear, the wash conditioned the rubber and kept the tires clean. Layton would start 7th in the A Main in Stock SCT and finish 3rd after the 8 minute final and some intense battle. He would also start 2nd in stock buggy and after some misfotunate luck ,fall back to last place but drove hard and made it back up to the podium to finish 3rd.
Top Gun Shootout (offroad) @ Nor Cal Hobbies 9-17-16 - 9-18-16
Nor Cal Hobbies hosted the annual Top Gun Shootout. It is always a fantastic event and was a pleasure to attend.
Cheaters flooded the track Saturday morning. Spec tires were handed out and the team used Cheater Sauce Extreme the first run or two to get their tires feeling good. Going into qualifying the traction really picked up which then led most people to switch to the 'original' sauce. Track stayed consistent rolling into the mains with great tire wear. Original sauce was more than enough traction. All in all, a great weekend for the team. Here is a overview of the drivers and their results:
